If you are wanting a treadmill for your home in order to get or keep in shape but don't want to spend a lot of money, then a Weslo treadmill could be the right one for you. Made by the company Icon, which also manufactures Nordic Track treadmills, it is the company's entry-level machine, which is perfect for those who only want to use the treadmill occasionally in their home. Because it is a very basic brand, it has fairly basic features, but enough to ensure you are getting a great workout. It also may not be durable or sturdy enough for a serious marathon runner, especially since only a warranty of 90 days is offered. All of the Weslo treadmills on the market today are under $1000, and even have some for as little as $250, which is extremely affordable and offers treadmills to those that can't afford many other brands.

The basic Weslo treadmill model that is currently on the market new is the Cardio Stride Plus. It is a perfect design for those that don't have a lot of room to store a bulky machine as it folds quite flat. This is a manual treadmill and does not have a motor, but a flywheel instead. It also has a manual incline that is adjustable in three degrees, up to a steep 20%, which is almost impossible to find on traditional motorized machines.

At the high end of Weslo's offerings is the Cadence 60 SE. Still under $1000 in price, it offers a 2.75 hp motor which allows speeds up to 10 mph and 10% inclines. It has 4 different workout programs to allow for daily variation. Not only does it have an easy-read console, but it has a built-in heart rate monitor and step counter. One other great feature that is found mainly on higher end treadmills is console fan which keeps you cool as you work up a sweat.
