Steelflex is a brand of exercise equipment under the well-known UK company, Body-Solid. Steelflex is known for its weight training accessories as well as cardio machines, including treadmills for both commercial and home use. Some reasons that Steelflex treadmills are popular is that all their machines are made of steel which gives them very stable and durable, which is a plus for machines that are reasonably priced. These treadmills are marketed primarily to a U.K. audience and are not very well-known in the United States, partly because they do not have a very good warranty. They only offer one year warranty's on parts and 2 years on the motor, which is very weak in comparison to other brands of treadmills.

Steelfex's most inexpensive home treadmill is the XT-2700. It is very basic with a 2.0 hp motor and basic console with 4 windows which show the basics such as Distance, Time, Laps, etc. The maximum speed allowed is 10 mph and it has the ability to monitor heart rate. It comes with 6 programmed workouts, which is equal to basic models of most other brands. The running space isn't huge, at 18” wide, but it is adequate for the occasional home user. This model also folds which is great for homes without a lot of extra storage space.

The most expensive Steelflex treadmill is a full commercial grade model. It comes with an easy-to-read LCD display and a powerful 3.5 hp motor which allows speeds up to 12 mph and elevation of up to 15%. It has 22 workout programs which allows for great variation of workout. This also has a wide 22” running surface, giving plenty of room for running. This particular comes with a lifetime motor warranty.
