Proform Treadmill
Proform treadmills are manufactured by the same company that produces Nordic Track treadmills – Icon Health and Fitness. Icon produces treadmills for those on a budget, but especially with the ProForm name, the treadmills are both inexpensive and decent quality.
ProForm treadmills are also quite well-equipped for a budget machine, which makes these a popular choice for consumers. Since they're not aimed at the marathon runner, their frames are very sturdy, but often made for light use. Proform has also improved greatly in quality over the past number of years and has a warranty to prove it – 12 year warranty on the motor and a lifetime warranty on the frame. The lower priced units, however don't have as comprehensive a plan, but one can purchase an extended warranty.
