Bought this unit in Jan 2010,after walking everyday for one and a half month at the mid-range speed,I give 4 stars rating. It is quiet and steady ,much better than my previous unit and also easy to lift the platform.
The only complaint is the installation, screws and holes in the both holding bars do not fit in since the design is unbelievable bad.The manual for using is short and does not give enough details but I don't care since I can set my own walking pattern.Lastly,it worth the money with good value. The delivery by Amazon was excellent in both timing and condition. |

| This is a very good treadmill for home, for a good price. The electronic panel is simple and easy to use. It folds up with wheels on the bottom for moving/storing. Two of the screws on the bottom didn't line up very well, but was pretty easy to put together. |

| This is a nice treadmill that runs smoothly and is fairly quiet. It was also pretty easy to put together (one hour). I have been using it 5 days a week for a month now and so far, so good. |
treadmill works except for incline

I like this treadmill for the most part; the belt is very functional, plus wide enough to be comfortable walking on. The display is good, plus it has a lot of "space" for things like water and phones/remotes to sit on.
The big problem I have with it, is the incline function isn't working. I've used the treadmill about a week, but have not yet contacted the manufacturer (I have been busy).
The treadmill came unassembled, but for the most part, it was not that hard to put together; I did it by myself in a few hours. I will add a minor gripe that one of the bolts doesn't seem to connect the pieces it should for the handlebar, but a second bolt is keeping it in place.
I want to add, that I only use the manual speed setting. I have not yet tried the other programs.
Rating: 4 of 5, is a fairly good estimate of it. It does work very well, but the issues I listed above prevent a perfect rating.

I've been a runner for years, but this is the first treadmill I've bought for my home and I'm very satisfied with it so far. I've been running steadily on it for a week and a half now and have had no major problems.
First, I'd like to say that I bought this treadmill directly from Amazon and I chose the free super saver shipping (cutting about a hundred dollars off my total,) so I wasn't expecting it to get to me very quickly. But the treadmill shipped out about a week earlier than its first estimated shipping date, and it actually arrived on my doorstep nearly two weeks before the projected date of arrival. I am very pleased with Amazon's service in this area! But on to the product.
I put this treadmill together myself, and I had very little trouble with it. Following the instructions carefully (especially the part that continually iterates not tightening any bolts until the entire treadmill is assembled,) I got it together pretty easily. The only problem I had was with the weight of the thing, which made getting some of the pieces to line up a little difficult, but if you get someone to give you a hand with this (or if you're fairly strong; I myself am 5'4" and 110 in my socks,) this shouldn't be a problem at all. The first time I turned it on, I had some problems with the belt shifting to one side or the other, but I followed the instructions in the manual for fixing this and it straightened right back out. The only thing the instruction booklet was lacking in was the part that explained how to lubricate under the belt when you first use the treadmill; I figured it out easily myself, but it would have been nice if the instructions in the manual went into a little more detail on just how it's done.
I was satisfied with the packaging as well; it was well padded and everything was in great condition when I opened it up. The cup holder was dented and slightly cracked when I pulled it out, but the rest of the products in the box and the box that it came in itself were completely unharmed, so I assume that the flaw occurred before packaging, and it's not a big deal. Plus, I liked that all the parts for each individual step of assembly were bagged separately and labeled, "parts for step one", "parts for step two" - very helpful for someone like me, who can't tell the difference between a screw and a screwdriver. Overall, the packaging and arrangement of all the parts were very satisfactory.
I can't say how this treadmill stacks up to the higher-range ones, not having been a big treadmill runner up until now, but for me, this treadmill is exactly what I wanted. I have been running approximately ten miles a day on it since I got it, and I haven't had a problem yet. It is a little noisy, but maybe that's because I'm more used to the silence of running outside - and it's hardly noticeable with some music on in the background or headphones in. I would definitely recommend this model if you're looking for your first treadmill. |
